Martin SoorjooMartin was called to the Bar in 1990 and remained in practice until 2004. Consistently recommended in Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 as a leader in his field, and finalist for the 2004 Human Rights Lawyer of the Year, Martin appeared in a number of high profile cases.
Throughout his career at the bar, Martin also trained other lawyers on behalf of various professional organisations, in his specialist fields.
Martin subsequently spent several years negotiating agreements with companies, UN agencies and charities. He also coached individuals, including lawyers, seeking to develop their presentation and interview skills. Martin is an expert in nonverbal communication and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Mark EldridgeMark was called to the Bar in 1975 and has had a varied career in the wider justice world and management. He has held senior appointments to Chief Executive level and has led teams of lawyers of more than 300. He has 20 years experience of running judicial and senior appointments, including CEO and Director level, and appointments to a variety of public authorities. His experience includes conducting more 100 recruitment exercises and almost 1,000 interviews.
Away from JATC, Mark currently has a wide portfolio of interests including being Deputy Chair of an NDPB, on the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee of another, in management consultancy and he holds two part-time judicial appointments
